Inpatient GL
The covered amount and uncovered amount details of an approved inpatient GL can be retrieved by panel hospital staff in two ways as below:
i. From Inpatient > Guarantee letters
- Under Inpatient, click on Guarantee letters and search by the patient's IC no. and/or GL no. under Patient name/IC/Passport number and/or Guarantee letter no. filters respectively.
- Once the GL has been searched and identified, click on Actions and View timeline
- Under View timeline, look for information under the FGL request claim approved section under the Timeline section
- From there, Guaranteed amount shown will be the approved amount while the uncovered amount will be shown in breakdown with the uncovered items alongside with the charges of the respective uncovered items. Hence the uncovered amount will tend to be the amount that needs to be borne by the patient as they're not covered by the patients' company policy.
ii. From Inpatient > Claims
- Under Inpatient, click on Claims and copy and paste the respective GL no. under the Guarantee letter no. filter
- On the shown GL, click on View to show more details
- Click on Timeline to view the Guaranteed amount for the approved amount and the Remarks section under the FGL request claim approved section for the uncovered amount. Details of the uncovered amount will be shown with the treatment/items that are not covered together with the corresponding amount
- The guaranteed amount shown represents the approved amount while the uncovered amount shown under Remarks represent the amount need to be borne by patient as they're uncovered as per patients' respective company policy.
