CHECKING INPATIENT GL STATUS
Inpatient GL status can be checked from Guarantee letters > Inpatient > insert the inpatient GL no. and search status under the GL status and also the Latest request type columns:
In the screenshot above the GL status shows Approved, Latest request type: Final: Pending approval and Query status as Pending which means that initial GL has been approved however final GL is still pending approval due to Pending query status yet to be resolved by the hospital
Hence, at times the inpatient GL is pending approval because HealthMetrics is still waiting for panel hospitals to revert on the medical query that has been sent by us. Hence, this status can be seen under the [Query status] column for each inpatient GL under Guarantee letters > Inpatient
- [Query status] is blank, it means no query is raised by HealthMetrics hence we will proceed to process the inpatient GL.
- [Query status] is Pending, it means hospital need to revert and click on Reply query on the medical query sent by us from their inpatient portal end before proceeding to the next step.
- [Query status] is Replied, it means hospital has reverted on the medical query sent by us and we can proceed the next step.
- [Query status] is Resolved, it means hospital has already reverted on the medical query sent by us and we have accepted and resolved the query and will proceed to the next step.
Hence, should any panel hospital query on the status of their latest GL request i.e., initial, final, top-up, etc. if there is Pending under Query status it means that panel hospital have to reply to that query first before we can proceed to the next step of the request.
