Now, corporate HR can also suspend employees and prevent utilization and claims of benefits for these employees.
NOTE: Any employees that has been currently deactivated in the portal will be changed to the Status: "Suspended" accordingly.
Conditions to suspend employee:
- Employee under probation if no cashless benefits are entitled
- Employee under disciplinary action due to misconduct, abuse of entitled cashless benefits
- Employee under any sabbatical leave
- Employee under investigation or internal inquiry by corporate HR
Basically, the main purpose of employee suspension is to disallow employees from any entitled cashless benefits at any of our panel providers and/or mobile app reimbursement claims however the employee's benefits would still be accumulated.
Please follow the steps below to suspend the employee's benefit correctly from the portal.
- From the left side panel, click on Employees and key in the employee's name or ID number under the Search box.
- Navigate to the Action button and click Edit
- Navigate to Benefit groups tab and select the Suspend Employee slider. Upon toggling the Suspend Employee and clicking the Save button. The employee will be suspended.
- Alternatively, if a future date is chosen for a scheduled suspension, click on Schedule suspension for employee and click on the digital calendar to schedule a future suspension date.
- Once a future suspension date has been added, click on the Save button. The employee will be suspended on that respective date.

Upon suspension of an employee:
• If the principal (employee) is suspended, all their dependents will be suspended as well. This cannot be overridden.
• However, if the principal is active, you can suspend a dependent.
• A suspended employee can be terminated.
