You may edit your employees in bulk via our Import Employees function.
When do you use this feature? It is when you want to edit it in bulk for:
1- Change of Subsidiary
2- Change of department
3- Update on medical leave limit and many more.
How do I do it?
From your left menu bar list, click on Employees and click the Import Employees button.
Next, you will be given these 3 simple steps in importing employees.
Step 1: Click the "Download the current database" and wait until the "In queue" Status is changed to "Done". You will see the green Download button.
Step 2: Follow the Column definitions to find out what data & formatting are required in each column in the Excel.
From the Employees tab from the Excel file, amend your existing employees/dependents data accordingly.
You will see "ColumnDefinition" sheet in the Excel file as well. Follow the formatting accordingly to avoid upload errors later.
💡Tips: Use Paste Values (V) if you are copying and pasting the data in the Excel file - this method ensures the data pasted in the Excel file will follow the Excel format automatically.
Step 3: Import the Excel sheet with the changes done. Choose your file to upload and upload it.
Click the Verify button to ensure no error exists in the Excel file uploaded. When everything is fine, click Save and you will be notified when the upload is a success.
Additional Notes:
1. When there's an error in the Excel sheet, your portal will point out where the error is with the red tag in each table.
2. You may hover your cursor over the error to see what is the error message about.
3. You can also edit the data directly from the table or edit it from your Excel sheet and re-upload it.
Note: Do take note editing the data directly from the table will not change the data in your Excel sheet. This editing function is for quick editing only. We would advise you to edit it from the Excel file directly if more than 3 errors are detected.
4. Proceed with Step 3 when you have fixed the error(s).
