With our latest batch action feature, now HR can suspend employees in bulk. There are two ways to do it: 1. By keying in the employee's NRIC/ passport number one by one (Single Insert) or
2. Copy & paste multiple NRIC/ passport numbers at one time (Bulk Insert).
Please refer to the steps and GIF below for both methods:
1. SINGLE INSERT
- From your left menu bar list, click on Employees
- Click on Batch Action
- Key in the NRIC/ passport number and search to add multiple employees (one by one).
NOTE: Please search for the NRIC without the dash "-" (eg: 793214171891) - You can then select “Unsuspend”, “Suspend”, “Terminate” or “Delete”. However, in the context of this article, select Suspend.
- After selection, click Save and the actions will be performed on the employees in the temporary listing.
- Refer to the GIF below on the Single Insert Batch Action method for your illustration:
2. BULK INSERT
- From your left menu bar list, click on Employees
- Click on Batch Action
- Toggle the Bulk insert employee slider and a box of IC/Passport no. will appear.
- Select employees in bulk through the listing of identification numbers. The selected employees will be added to the temporary listing.
- Click the Load ID button
- You can then select “Unsuspend”, “Suspend”, “Terminate” or “Delete”. However, for the context of this article, please select Suspend.
- After selection, click Save and the actions will be performed on the employees in the temporary listing.
- Refer to the GIF below to illustrate the Bulk insert batch action:
Upon using bulk action on a group of employees, if one of the employees is ineligible for the action, the action will still be done on all other employees.
NOTE: Batch action can only be done on the Principal and is not applicable for the dependants.
